CIR Media Network

The Center for Investigative Reporting Media Network is a unique model of distribution for journalism. Launched in early 2011 as the California Watch Media Network, the network initially served California based news organizations with content from CIR’s California Watch project. In 2013, when CIR unified its brands, the network expanded to offer our California, Bay Area and national content – including text, databases, multimedia, broadcast videos and engagement opportunities – to partners throughout the country.

The network offers subscription benefits to member media organizations. Members also work closely with CIR to localize investigative pieces, create unique ways of reaching new audiences, collaborate on investigative reporting projects and more.
