In 1970, an anti-war group bombed the Army Math Research Center at the University of Wisconsin, killing one person. President Nixon and Attorney General Mitchell used the death as an excuse to escalate sweeping measures against the anti-war movement. Today, most of those responsible for the bombing have pled guilty. Or have they? Investigations have revealed that the FBI knew about the plot in advance and did nothing to stop it.
